My wife and I met Mandie in the late summer of 2004 at the Volunteer neighborhood group (Common Fence Point Improvement Assoc.). During that period, I had communications with Mandie about her son’s wish to help in renovations to the Community Hall. In December of 2004, we had an opportunity to bid on a property in Portsmouth, and we were unsure if we could afford to make an offer. I remembered Mandie’s e-mail and called her to discuss our situation.

She has always maintained contact and has been willing and able to help in any way she can.
