Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum Contress Street Bridge Boston, MA Phone: 617-338-1773 On December 16, 1773, a group of colonists dressed as Indian natives stormed a British ship carrying tea and dumped the tea into Boston Harbor, in protest over high taxes on the tea by the crown. This replica of the original ship houses a museum detailing a history of the events leading up to the Tea Party. Admission is charged.
